Dear Delegates, Speakers and Sponsors,
Thank you for being a part of the 1st ASEAN Sports Medicine Conference 2015. This conference coincided with Malaysia assuming the Chairmanship of the ASEAN organization for 2015 in Kuala Lumpur. This was the first time that we have had participants from various ASEAN countries coming together with the common interest of providing support to sportsmen and sportswomen. |
In accordance to our theme, Enhancing Performance Through Sports Medicine & Sports Science, we had a great number of interesting and relevant topics. It is hoped that the current research presented and state of the art methods displayed in the ultrasound and taping workshops provide a greater understanding of sports science that can be put into practice. The matter of doping in sports was also a highlight during the conference. We hope that you were able to network with professionals from various fields that have and will continually assist you in taking your practice to greater heights.
With the official launch of the Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine home website, there is now a link for the society and its members to keep up-to-date with current affairs in the field of sports in Malaysia and the world.
