MASM plays an active role in educating professionals and members of the general public about safe participation in sports, recreation and physical activity to create a healthy population.

MASM aims to provide support and education to athletes and individuals aspiring to undertake regular physical activity at all levels. At community level, MASM encourages recreational and physical activity as well as educating its members about healthy lifestyle choices with the aim of inculculating good health and good quality of life through proper research, education and fitness programmes.

We are affiliated with FIMS (International Federation of Sports Medicine) and AFSM (Asian Federation of Sports Medicine).

Join MASM to gain knowledge through our network of sports medicine physicians and orthopaedic surgeons with interest in sports medicine; collaborate with other healthcare professionals in this rapidly growing field; get updates on local sports medicine and sports science related events; enjoy special rates for all of MASM’s continuing professional development programmes and most of all, get recognition and acknowledgement by professional bodies and peers on your good work and contribution to the development of sports medicine, athletes and sportsmanship in Malaysia and the region.

We look forward to meeting you at our activities and meetings.

Yours Sincerely,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Halim Mokhtar, President of Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine
